National Honor Society

Welcome to the National Honor Society website!

The National Honor Society is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school level students. More than just an honor roll, the National Honor Society serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. Today, it is estimated that more than one million students participate in NHS nationwide. NHS chapters are found in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, many U.S. Territories, and Canada. Chapter membership not only recognizes students for their accomplishments, but challenges them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service. Russellville High School is proud to have a growing chapter in the National Honor Society that is incredibly active in the community and all over the state. If you have any questions concerning the National Honor Society, please email Mrs. Boyd heather.boyd@rcs.k12.al.us or Mr. Gabe Willis at gabe.willis@rcs.k12.al.us
