RMS SHOW CHOIR

The Russellville Middle School Show Choir is an auditioned group who has chosen choir as their elective. The show choir works to develop a close harmonic choral blend while being accompanied by CD tracks, piano, or an instrumental combo. We cover a variety of skills that apply to both subjects as we prepare for our various performances. The group learns choreography and staging to highlight the music and may require after school rehearsals to prepare shows for concerts.  The RMS show choir performs at school concerts and civic events throughout the school year.  

6th Grade Show Choir (Show Choir I) - 6th Grade Show Choir is comprised of students who have some or no dancing/singing experience. In Show Choir I, students will learn the fundamental vocal techniques and choreography dance skills. There is a $20 fee for being in 6th Grade Show Choir. This fee covers cost for music, materials, and books used for performances.

7th and 8th Grade Show Choir (Show Choir II/Show Choir III) - 7th and 8th Grade Show is comprised of students who have dancing/singing experience. In Show Choir II/III, students will learn advanced vocal techniques and choreography dance skills. There is a $20 fee for being in 7th & 8th Grade Show Choir. This fee covers cost for music, materials, and books used for performances.
