Peer Helpers PLUS is a comprehensive, peer-to-peer prevention and support program. Our mission is to foster positive youth development by educating and empowering students with the essential character traits and skills needed to advocate for healthy choices, resolve conflicts, and cultivate positive peer relationships, enabling all students to succeed both academically and in life.
Our Peer Helpers play an essential role in fostering a positive school environment by:
Offering support and friendship to students who may feel isolated or need a listening ear.
Promoting kindness and conflict resolution through peer mediation and daily interactions.
Assisting new students with their transition to RMS, helping them feel welcome and connected.
Encouraging positive behavior and participation both in and out of the classroom.
